Inno at Spotlight on Scandinavian Design, New York

Inno will take part in Spotlight on Scandinavian Design during NYCxDESIGN 2026 in New York.

Hosted at the Residence of the Consul General of Sweden in New York, the event brings together a curated selection of contemporary Nordic design brands through immersive installations and conversations around Scandinavian design, craftsmanship, and material-driven thinking.

As part of the exhibition, Inno will present two products from our collection: the Naku Shelf by Harri Korhonen and the Whippy Chair by Rasmus Palmgren.

Crafted from high-quality certified wood, the Naku Shelf features a self-supporting structure that allows for easy assembly and disassembly without the need for tools. Designed with simplicity and versatility in mind, it functions both as a bookshelf and room divider while remaining easy to relocate and adapt to different spaces. Its flat-pack construction optimizes transport efficiency throughout its life cycle, reducing environmental impact and supporting Inno’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing.

Whippy Chair combines meticulous craftsmanship with sustainable production and functional flexibility. Made from certified birch, ash, or oak, the chair pairs the timeless character of Nordic design with a practical folding mechanism that allows for easy storage and transportation. The design is particularly suited for spaces that require adaptable seating solutions, while optional accessories such as a trolley, row connector, and upholstered seat version further enhance its versatility and comfort. The flat-pack transport format also helps reduce the chair’s carbon footprint.

The event is organized as part of NYCxDESIGN and highlights the continued international relevance of Scandinavian design through collaboration, sustainability, and timeless design values.
